If you’re a fan of “Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit” you are probably already informed about the look of Tolkien’s idyllic place Shire, real place on the map, a small agricultural town in the Waikato region of New Zealand. When the filming was completed, this location was converted as spectacular attraction with 44 movie houses, with the bridge and the Restaurant Green Dragon Inn and Bar.
The whole tour begins at the picturesque farm of 1250 acres with sheep through the real home of Bilba and Frodo Baggins. You can even have lunch in the special restaurant Green Dragon Bar on traditional Hobbit Fair and drink of the local beer. Sounds pretty amazing, right?
